Motion Adds Canadian Jobs as Demand Grows for AI Marketing Platform

September 5, 2026 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

Canadian software company Motion is adding new employees as it responds to growing demand for its AI-powered marketing platform.

The remote-first company is recruiting across engineering, customer success, sales, marketing, product and design. Current opportunities include Senior Software Engineer positions focused on backend and infrastructure, along with an executive-level individual contributor role in engineering.

Motion is also hiring customer success managers, a platform expert, a mid-market account executive and a customer onboarding specialist. Other openings include executive individual-contributor positions in marketing, design and product.

The company says the new headcount will help it support demand for Runneth, an AI system designed to serve as a shared source of intelligence for marketing teams.

Runneth ingests advertising data, creative playbooks and performance insights into a persistent knowledge base. The platform is intended to help marketers understand which advertising creative is working, identify trends and turn institutional knowledge into repeatable workflows.

Motion has also developed a connector that allows Anthropic’s Claude to analyze video advertising at scale.

Founded in 2021, Motion provides creative analytics and intelligence software for performance marketers, brands and agencies. Customers use its platform to analyze advertising results, monitor competitors, conduct research and prioritize new creative campaigns.

The company says it now employs more than 75 people and has raised over $65 million. Motion has established offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Porto for optional coworking while continuing to operate as a remote-first organization.

Motion reports that its customers analyze more than $14 billion in annual media spending through the platform. Its customer base includes ecommerce brands such as HexClad, Vuori, True Classic and Ridge, as well as film studio A24.
