Pivotal Growth Unveils New System to Fuel Future of Leadership Performance

November 19, 2025 by Knowlton Thomas

A company based in Halifax is building a platform aimed at enhancing leadership performance in the modern age.

Risks such as remote and hybrid work, distinct generational differences in work culture, and the rapid proliferation of artificial intelligence technologies stand among the disruptions impacting the effectiveness of traditional leadership models in Canada and beyond, according to Lisa Haydon.

Haydon is the founder of Pivotal Growth, a Nova Scotian upstart seeking to equip today’s leaders with tools and habits that actually align with modern workplace expectations.

“Leadership performance has become a prioritized business imperative,” posits Haydon, who serves Pivotal as chief executive officer.

To meet rising needs, Pivotal Growth has launched the Pivotal Leadership Intelligence System, following extensive research on modern performance factors.

From 2023 through 2025, Pivotal led a multi-phase applied research initiative called the Future of Leadership Project.

The project combined quantitative diagnostics, qualitative reflection, and experiential learning across industries and leadership levels.

Insight was tested against how leaders actually showed up, Haydon says, connecting data to behaviour and validating what drives performance in real work contexts.

The resulting research “represents a rigorous and current dataset on how modern leaders perform,” according to a statement from Pivotal.

The research project ultimately led to the creation of the Pivotal Leadership Intelligence System.

Now, Pivotal’s AI-enabled intelligence engine and human-centric methodology can measure and unlock an organization’s leadership capacity at scale, according to Haydon.

“Organizations are asking for precision, and visibility into leadership impact,” she says. “They want insights, not information. They want to make data-backed leadership decisions and access people intelligence to unlock potential and capacity.”

In addition to the Intelligence System, Pivtol has also launched the Pathway to Performance Diagnostic—a 10-dimension assessment that identifies and remeasures data-validated performance essentials which drive execution, engagement, and adaptability.

Pivotal Growth was established in 2017.
