Times of economic instability have served as a launchpad for some of the world’s most creative companies.
Airbnb, Uber, Dropbox, and Glassdoor all emerged from the 2008 recession.
Today Silicon Valley alum Sarah Stockdale launched Canada’s first online growth marketing school to help prepare entrepreneurs for the opportunities that may come out of today’s COVID-19 crisis.
Growclass is a seven-week online growth marketing school which allows entrepreneurs to develop a growth mindset by providing the tools and skills needed to understand how to thrive during challenging economic times.
Stockdale’s growth marketing training program was previously known as Valkerie.
“As budgets get leaner, and resources tighten we need to be able to do more with less. More in house, less outsourced. More experimental, less sitting in boardrooms. More creative and human, less “what we did last year”. Growclass focuses on lean, scrappy growth marketing,” Stockdale wrote on LinkedIn as part of today’s annoucement.
Taught by pros who want you to succeed from day one, students will learn SEO, paid ads, conversion copywriting, analytics, email marketing + more in just six weeks. Instructors include Clio’s Alex Shipillo, Clearbanc’s Kent Fenwick, and LinkedIn’s Richard Wong.
The first Growclass cohort begins on May 17th, 2020. Growclass costs $1,970 and enrollment is open now.
