Toronto’s Borderless AI has unveiled HRGPT, a free AI-powered search engine designed to streamline HR processes and enhance the employee experience. The tool allows employees and HR managers to search across their company’s data and Borderless AI’s HR knowledge base for instant answers to complex queries.
HRGPT also supports critical HR tasks such as generating employment agreements, creating job descriptions, and conducting compensation benchmarking, offering businesses a versatile, time-saving solution.
“We effectively have a 24/7 HR sidekick that can answer questions and engage in any language around the world for our team,” said Greg De Santos, CFO of Incubeta. “We created an employment contract in about 20 minutes without needing an attorney. That’s a game-changer.”
Borderless AI, which emerged from stealth last year, already serves hundreds of customers, including global brands such as Dunlop Sporting Goods, Incubeta, and Raya. Its AI Agents have automated critical HR tasks, completing a customer task every hour on average.
With HRGPT, employees gain real-time access to information like PTO balances, project deadlines, or personal benefits, while HR teams can focus on higher-value tasks.
CEO Willson Cross described HRGPT as a breakthrough in HR software. “Unlike general-purpose AI search engines, HRGPT is hyper-focused on the HR space, enabling enterprises to retrieve data from both internal and external sources seamlessly,” Cross said.
Borderless AI also announced a $5 million seed extension, bringing its total funding to $32 million. Cohere co-founders Aidan Gomez and Ivan Zhang participated, leveraging Cohere’s enterprise-optimized LLM technology. The funds will support further development of AI Agents and enterprise search capabilities.
As Borderless AI continues to innovate, HRGPT positions itself as an indispensable tool for modern HR teams, offering a seamless blend of functionality, efficiency, and global reach.
