Transition into Tech Encourages Women To Explore Tech Careers

June 8, 2021 by Robert Lewis

Northeastern University in Vancouver is hosting a virtual Transition into Tech event next week in collaboration with Athena Pathways in an effort to encourage more women (and the community in general) to explore a career in tech.

The session kicks off with an all-women industry panel, followed by a tech program highlight from B.C. academic institutions including UBC, SFU, BCIT and Northeastern.

The event will wrap up with networking drop-in sessions with the academic institutions, as well as a handful of companies looking to hire including Dapper Labs, SAP, KPMG, D-Wave, and Variational AI.

Transition into Tech takes place on June 17th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

Register online to participate.
