Tech Talent Canada will be hosting our first virtual Vancouver job fair on Wednesday, October 21st and we’re excited to announce the preliminary lineup of organizations that will be participating.
Our virtual job fairs replicate the experience of our in-person events with the participating companies pitching the audience on why you should consider working for them.
The hiring companies will also be hosting their own virtual exhibit booth where they can showcase their employer brand and interact with attendees.
Hiring companies include Benevity, East Side Games, Mastercard, Rogers, Shaw, SkipTheDishes, Thinkific, Trulioo, Unbounce, Unity, and more.
Vancouver-headquartered Thinkific is among the companies that pledged early support for Pay Up for Progress, a new initiative from Unbounce aimed at urging business leaders to prioritize gender pay parity within their organizations.
San Francisco’s Unity Technologies is recruiting at the event for their Canadian offices including Port Coquitlam – they acquired Finger Food Advanced Technology Group earlier this year.
Calgary Economic Development will be attending the event to showcase Calgary’s growing tech ecosystem and the opportunities available in many of the city’s game-changing companies
Unlike our previous in-person job fairs where we had to limit attendance based on physical constraints, our virtual events have increased capacity, allowing us to welcome job seekers from around the world.
For attendees that are interested in moving to Vancouver to pursue a career in tech, Global Talent Accelerator will be available to answer questions on job opportunities and relocation.
If you’re exploring your career options in Vancouver, be sure to register now.
