Foresight Introduces Custom Upskilling Program to Prepare Canada’s Workforce for the Clean Economy

November 18, 2025 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

Foresight is rolling out a new employer-focused Upskilling Program designed to help Canadian companies strengthen their talent pipelines and equip workers with the skills needed for a fast-growing clean economy.

Delivered on a recurring basis, the program offers customized training built around real industry needs—from sustainability and innovation to advanced technologies central to Canada’s net-zero transition.

The program is co-created with employers and industry partners to ensure direct relevance to organizational priorities. Each offering blends technical instruction, applied project work, and mentorship from sector experts, enabling employees to apply new skills immediately to company projects and accelerate innovation.

For HR leaders and talent teams, the initiative serves as a tool to drive retention and professional growth. Foresight emphasizes that investing in tailored skills development not only boosts engagement but creates clear internal career pathways—an increasingly important advantage as competition for clean economy talent intensifies.

The program can be funded through existing training budgets and integrated into internal development pipelines, making it accessible for organizations at any stage of their workforce transformation journey. Participants also gain exposure to emerging technologies and expand their professional networks, positioning companies and employees to lead in Canada’s evolving innovation landscape.
