Google currently employs around 1,500 Canadians across three primary offices in Waterloo, Montreal and Toronto.
Over the next 24 months, it plans to open three new offices, that will accommodate a workforce of 5,000 Google employees by 2022.
The tech behemoth announced today that it will build a trio of new facilities in Montreal at 425 Viger Avenue, in Toronto at 65 King Street East and in Kitchener-Waterloo across from its current office space.
The Montreal and Toronto offices will replace Google’s existing facilities in those cities.
The announcements were made in concert with Google’s release of their 2019 Economic Impact in Canada report.
