Job Autopilot is Using A.I. to Help Canadian Tech Talent Land Work

November 6, 2024 by Knowlton Thomas

Turbulence in Canada’s tech talent job market is high this year, and instability may linger as national and global economic uncertainties remain prevalent.

Seeking to alleviate some of the friction found in today’s hiring market is Job Autopilot, which leverages artificial intelligence to help Canadians land work efficiently.

Job Autopilot claims to outsmart employers’ robots with AI-powered resume optimization, landing job seekers up to 8x more interviews.

The service can autofill job applications and tailor each resume to a specific position, applying to more than 100 jobs in hours.

A dashboard reveals statistics around job search efforts, suggesting daily tasks while the platform’s “Job Tracker” automatically saves details such as job descriptions, application responses, resume versions, and recruiter contacts.

Of course, not everyone is down with handing over their career search to an AI bot. That is why the company also offers human-assisted programs, allowing users to connect with “expert mentors [who] provide high-quality guidance for a confident professional journey.”

Through Job Autopilot, users typically land an interview within the first couple of weeks, and a job in about two months, according to data from the startup.

Job Autopilot is among the handpicked companies set to pitch to an audience of investors and tech enthusiasts when the Launch Party of Innovation Week YYC brings together the city’s most promising tech startups at Big Four Roadhouse.
