From Discovery to Design to Development, Launchcode Delivers

January 10, 2022 by Robert Lewis

Calgary’s Launchcode is a full service development company, specializing in innovative products for startups and industry leaders.

From discovery to design to development, Launchcode treats all of their clients as partners, as their success is directly tied to their own success. For some clients they even partner in joint ventures that use their productization experience to incubate and grow a new product company.

In partnership with Cisco Canada and the Autonomous Living project, Launchcode is working to design a mobile web application and web-based platform that will enrich individuals with diverse developmental disabilities live autonomously and independently.

Set to launch in Spring of 2022, using smart device integration, smart notifications and remote monitoring, users will be able to receive in-home support through a customized experience utilizing IoT technology to empower them to live independently and transform the lives for users, families and caregivers all over the world.

“Technology can be the enabler for better outcomes for all, and the potential is immeasurable for the Autonomous Living Project to scale and build capacity in developmental services delivery while transforming the lives of the users, families and caregivers.” Shannon Leininger, President, Cisco Canada.

With a range of functionality available, the technology Launchcode is working on includes the ability to create reminders and routines for users while utilizing sensors to alert a family member or caregiver if for example, a tap was left running or a fridge door has been left open.

This is just one example of the type of projects that Launchcode’s team is currently working on.

If working for a company helping to build innovative products that make a difference, look no further. Among the perks of working at Launchcode are special project Fridays, hackathons, tech meetups or a game of squash. Did I mention they have their own squash court – check out the video tour of their office below.

Launchcode is currently hiring software developers and a UI/UX designer and will be at the Tech Talent Canada Virtual Job Fair on February 23rd. This job fair is a unique recruiting event that connects fast-growing companies directly with tech talent.
