QueerTech Launches Accelerator for 2SLGBTQIA+ Entrepreneurs

January 22, 2025 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

QueerTech has unveiled the QT Founders Qatalyst Program, a 12-week accelerator designed to empower early-stage 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs across Canada.

The program aims to foster innovation within the queer tech community by providing tailored resources, mentorship, and access to a supportive network of founders and industry leaders. Participants will engage in expert-led sessions and benefit from a curriculum designed to address the unique challenges faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs.

“Our mission with the QT Founders Qatalyst Program is to create a supportive and empowering environment where 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs can flourish,” said Naoufel Testaouni, CEO of QueerTech.

Backed by the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and the Government of Canada, the program highlights a commitment to inclusivity and innovation. Applications for the inaugural cohort are now open, with the program set to begin in March 2025.

Early-stage 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs across Canada are encouraged to apply and contribute to a more inclusive tech landscape.
