Return To Work With Vancouver’s Traction Guest

April 18, 2021 by Robert Lewis

In June of 2019 Traction Guest raised a $17 million financing round led by Bessemer Venture Partners for their cloud-based visitor management solution that used iPads to track office activity.

Less than one year later with the COVID-19 pandemic in full swing, the Vancouver startup was busy adapting their technology to the new reality of a hybridized work environment.

First up was their ZeroTouch contactless solution with touchless sign-in/out technology that allowed for the vetting of employees and visitors before access to any facility.

Unfortunately remote work quickly became the standard early in the pandemic, so Traction Guest shifted their attention to when employees would be returning to work.

Designed to help employers meet the increasingly complex legal duty of care responsibilities that emerged as a result of the pandemic, Traction Guest introduced a Return-to-Work Solution.

Their work didn’t end there.

As part of the company’s Guest for Good program, Traction Guest worked to make long-term care facilities safer for residents and their guests by offering its visitor management platform to care homes on a grant basis for those that cannot afford the technology.

Most recently Traction Guest launched a vaccine attestation registry tool for businesses to incorporate digital vaccination records into their screening and onsite entry process for workers and visitors.

Traction Guest is well-positioned to help employers cope with what increasingly appears will be a hybridized work model, with many tech workers splitting their time between home and the office.

With COVID-19 vaccinations rolling out across the country and Canada’s tech sector booming, now is the time to look for new career opportunities.

Meet Traction Guest online at the Tech Talent Canada virtual job fair on April 28th. Register now to participate for free.

Traction Guest is currently hiring for the following roles: Customer Support Advocate, Quality Engineering Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager, Payroll & Benefit Specialist, Digital Marketing Manager, and Product Manager.
