Autonomous Driving Company Wayve Establishes New Office in Vancouver to Expand AI Research

April 11, 2024 by Robert Lewis

London, UK based autonomous driving technology company Wayve announced today that it is expanding its international presence with a new office in Vancouver.

The Canadian expansion signifies a key moment in Wayve’s growth as a global AI leader and underpins its commitment to expanding its research and development operations.

With Vancouver boasting the highest technology talent market growth across the U.S. and Canada, it is an ideal location for Wayve’s next office.

According to the company, the city’s renowned educational institutions, thriving startup ecosystem, and presence of international tech companies make Vancouver the ideal location.

Wayve plans to hire about 10 people for the Vancouver office within the first year, focused on research and development, particularly for its AI models.
