Absorb Software, PurposeMed, and Slalom Among Companies Hiring at Virtual Job Fair

May 26, 2024 by Robert Lewis

Techtalent.ca’s virtual job fairs are back and we’ll be hosting our seventeenth event next month.

Since moving them online in 2020 our virtual events have connected over 250 companies with 15,000+ candidates.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 25th, this edition of the Techtalent.ca Virtual Job Fair will feature a dozen companies representing over 200 open roles.

The first three hiring companies to be added to our June 25th roster of participants are Absorb Software, PurposeMed, and Slalom.

Absorb Software is a learning tech company based in Calgary with remote workers throughout the world.

Absorb offers both Absorb Infuse, the first Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to offer a true in-the-flow learning experience, and their flagship product, Absorb LMS, an industry-leading and award-winning Learning Management System for businesses, higher education, government and non-profit agencies around the world.

PurposeMed was founded in 2019 with the mission of improving access to complex care for underserved communities. PurposeMed serves thousands of patients each month across three complex care business units: Freddie, Frida, and Foria.

Freddie is focused on improving sexual health through education, prevention, and treatment with a focus on the LGBTQ2S+ community. Frida is focused on improving mental health and happiness through education, diagnosis, and treatment. Foria is a virtual clinic providing trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse Canadians with gender-affirming healthcare.

Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company. Founded in 2001, Slalom has grown rapidly to 13,000+ team members in eight countries and 45 markets.

Slalom has close partnerships with over 400 leading technology providers, including AWS, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau. From strategy to implementation, Slalom deeply understand their customers—and their customers—to deliver practical, end-to-end solutions that drive meaningful impact.

The Techtalent.ca Virtual Job Fair takes place on Tuesday, June 25th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm ET.

Over the next month we’ll be adding more hiring companies to the roster of participants. If you’re hiring and would like to participate, secure your virtual booth now.
