Digitail Expands Canadian Hiring Following US$23 Million Series B

November 13, 2025 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

Veterinary software company Digitail is ramping up hiring in Canada after securing a USD $23 million Series B round led by Five Elms Capital, bringing its total funding to more than US$37 million.

Founded in 2018, Digitail builds an AI-powered, cloud-based platform designed to streamline operations inside veterinary clinics, from patient intake and charting to billing and client communication. The company says demand for digital tools in pet care continues to grow as clinics struggle with administrative burdens and staffing shortages.

The new capital will accelerate development of the company’s expanding suite of AI workflows and support its international expansion, with Canada playing an increasingly central role. Although Digitail operates as a remote-first organization, Toronto has become one of its fastest-growing hubs, alongside Vancouver.

Digitail is currently hiring across product, engineering, data, and customer-facing roles. The company highlights flexible remote work, employee stock options, and a yearly $1,000 learning and development budget among its core benefits. Its team is distributed across more than 10 countries.

With strong financial backing and a growing presence in Canada, Digitail is positioning itself as a compelling destination for tech talent interested in SaaS, AI development, and the digital transformation of veterinary care.
