Career Curious? This Free Event is Full of Hiring Canadian Tech Companies

July 16, 2022 by Knowlton Thomas

Next week Tech Talent Canada will be hosting our eleventh online job fair since going virtual in 2020.

Taking place on Wednesday, July 20th at 3:30pm ET, the Tech Talent Canada Job Fair will feature 17+ companies representing 1,000+ open roles. These seasonal job fairs offer prime opportunities for Canadians to connect with some of the country’s hottest hiring startups and forge epic careers.

Companies hiring at the event will be representing an exciting range of industries and a broad spectrum of technologies from across the country.

For example there is Vancouver’s APOLLO, which allows broker partners and customers to purchase insurance online through its proprietary platform. The BC startup’s all-digital approach leverages extensive data and intelligent algorithms to quote, collect payment, and issue policies—all without human intervention.

“We have attended Tech Talent Canada events in the past and it’s always been a great opportunity to share what we do [and] how we are digitizing insurance,” stated Lyons, who noted that the events are full of “individuals passionate about disruption and tech.”

Also attending is Toronto’s Connected, an end-to-end product development services firm, and Circle Imaging, which aims to patient outcomes by revolutionizing the cardiovascular healthcare industry through innovation. Wipro delivers a range of global business solutions while CDW Canada is a provider of technology solutions for business, government, and education organizations.

The prairie provinces of Canada will be well represented at Tech Talent Canada’s forthcoming event. The Calgary Economic Development will wave their flag at the Job Fair and regional organizations like Harvest Builders, Helcim, and Symend are proudly participating.

For those looking for opportunities at larger companies, the Tech Talent Canada Job Fair will feature Canadian anchors RBC and Shaw.

Career curious? Register online now to attend. And if you’re hiring, it’s not too late to grab your virtual booth.

For year-round opportunities, stay glued to our free Job Board.
