Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in Canada

December 11, 2019 by Robert Lewis

Glassdoor has announced the winners of its 5th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work in 2020 across Canada.

Unlike other workplace awards, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards are based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback, by completing a company review about their job, work environment and employer over the past year.

Winners are ranked based on their overall rating achieved on Glassdoor during the past year. (Ratings are displayed on a 5-point scale to the nearest tenth: 1.0=very dissatisfied, 3.0=OK, 5.0=very satisfied; Actual calculations to determine list extend beyond the thousandth decimal place).

The top 10 Best Places to Work in 2020 in Canada with 1,000 or more employees are:

  1. Microsoft (4.5 rating)
  2. Salesforce (4.4 rating)
  3. VIPKid (4.4 rating)
  4. Keg Restaurants (4.4 rating)
  5. G Adventures (4.4 rating)

Glassdoor’s 25 Best Places to Work in 2020 in Canada list features winning employers hiring across a range of industries, including technology, retail, education, government, health care, telecommunications, food services, travel and tourism and more.
