Helcim Expands Hiring as Fintech Firm Grows in Calgary

June 20, 2025 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

Calgary-based fintech Helcim is on a hiring spree, expanding its team from its Eau Claire headquarters as demand for its transparent payment platform grows.

The company is recruiting across a broad range of departments, including software development, customer success, sales, marketing, data science, finance, operations, design, and trust & safety.

Transparency is a core part of Helcim’s culture. Inspired by open-source values, the company shares internal financials, town hall recordings, and newsletters with all staff. Salaries and job levels are openly published to build trust and provide clarity on career progression.

Perks include three weeks’ paid vacation plus a year-end break, day-one health and dental coverage, generous parental leave, and support for continuous learning through training budgets, tech events, leadership circles, and book clubs.

Helcim supports a flexible hybrid-work model that combines the convenience of remote work with the collaborative energy of its Eau Claire office, located near Calgary’s river valley and close to transit and amenities.

More information about current job openings is available on Helcim’s careers page.
