LinkedIn’s 15 Startups Where Canadians Want To Work

September 25, 2024 by Robert Lewis

Today, LinkedIn revealed its annual list of Top Startups, revealing the 15 emerging Canadian companies you should know now.

These companies aren’t just growing fast and garnering attention from investors and jobseekers — they’re also shaping the future of their industries, whether it’s developing robots to automate tasks for insurance brokers or building sustainable techniques for metal extraction.

The list is built on exclusive LinkedIn data across four key pillars: employee growth; jobseeker interest; engagement within the company and its employees; and how well these startups have pulled talent from Top Companies.

To be eligible, companies must be headquartered in Canada, fully independent, privately held, have 30 or more full-time employees and be 5 years old or younger.

LinkedIn’s 7th annual Top Startups list is the resource to find the startups to pay attention to right now, featuring 15 Canadian companies that are rising to the challenges of the moment and continuing to innovate and gain attention in 2025.
