Write the Next Chapter of Your Career at September’s Tech Talent Job Fair

August 24, 2022 by Robert Lewis

Every so often, an opportunity comes knocking.

Answer the door to Tech Talent Canada’s virtual job fair, a quarterly affair that connects growing Canadian companies with top talent across the country.

In a unique twist, hiring companies showcase their employer brand and pitch to a crowd of skilled candidates on why they’re the best place to around. This allows talent to align their values with the right company in order to forge an epic career path.

Best of all? Our virtual job fairs are always free for job-seekers! With no downside, it’s no wonder these popular events have been successfully running for several years straight.

In fact, more than 400 companies have used Tech Talent Canadas’s job fairs to hire top talent in-person and virtually, such as Toronto’s Connected and Vancouver’s Apollo.

“We have attended Tech Talent Canada events in the past and it’s always been a great opportunity to share what we do [and] how we are digitizing insurance,” Chloe Lyons, Director of Recruitment for APOLLO, informed Tech Talent Canada at the last event.

Other past participating companies include Helcim, Harvest Builders, Symend, and RBC. And Rangle, Trulioo, IBM, KPMG, and Shaw have also hired at Tech Talent Job Fairs.

Who else? Neo Financial, Tangerine Bank, Tasktop, and Wipro. And that’s not to mention Blackline Safety, Attabotics, Canvass, Flahmingo, and TELUS.

You probably get the idea by now.

Lyons noted that the events are full of “individuals passionate about disruption and tech.” And we couldn’t agree more! Our many thousands of Job Fair attendees have historically been diverse in skill, representing a wide range of experience levels, and boasting high average education.

Supplemented by Tech Talent’s year-round Job Board—also always free—our organization continues to proudly support Canada’s robust technology ecosystem, which remains vibrant even during the current market headwinds we’re all feeling.

Job-seekers can register for the next Tech Talent Canada virtual job fair now, which takes place on September 28. Interested companies can still apply to hire at the upcoming Job Fair.
