Botpress to Double Team After $34M Raise to Power AI Agent Infrastructure

June 23, 2025 by Techtalent.ca Newsdesk

Montréal-based AI startup Botpress has secured over $34 million in Series B funding to scale its infrastructure platform for deploying large language model–powered AI agents.

With a sharp focus on helping businesses move beyond AI experiments into production-ready agent deployments, Botpress is now gearing up for significant growth. The company plans to double its 65-person team over the next year, with open roles in engineering, product, and go-to-market.

“We hear a lot about AI, but can we point to agents deployed in the wild that perform really well?” said co-founder and CEO Sylvain Perron. “We’ve been building all that infrastructure.”

The round was led by Framework Venture Partners, with participation from Deloitte Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, and returning backers Inovia Capital and Decibel Partners. The funding will also support international expansion and the launch of voice capabilities.

Botpress currently supports over 3,000 paying customers and nearly 1 million free users. The company expects to surpass $10 million USD in annual revenue this year.
