Calgary is Hiring & Calgary Economic Development Wants You To Know

Two organizations in Alberta are very serious about attracting tech talent to the prairies and they’re coming together this week to host a massive virtual job fair.

On Thursday, September 23rd Tech West Collective is hosting their second recruiting event in partnership with Calgary Economic Development. 

Also a Tech Talent Canada partner, Calgary Economic Development is on a mission is to inspire tech professionals to consider Calgary as a place to do meaningful work and have an unmatched quality of life.

Their recent marketing campaign, Live Tech. Love Life draws a parallel between working in tech and Calgary’s lifestyle.

Calgary’s Tech West Collective is a group of companies who’s goal is to make Alberta an internationally recognized tech powerhouse and they’re making the most out of the opportunity.

With more than 2,000 open tech jobs in Calgary, growing the tech community is a need that has been reinforced by local companies of all sizes – they require the right talent to grow their businesses.
