Networking In A Virtual World

May 5, 2020 by Robert Lewis

During the COVID-19 crisis it is important to remember the basics of networking – such as being professional, taking web calls as seriously as regular ones and being prepared for informal meetings with executives or mentors.

Networking is particularly tough after a layoff but it is a critical aspect of a job-search.

In response to the significant layoffs as the result of the crisis, outplacement service First 30 is offering their 30-day video-based program directly to people affected by job loss.

Even if you’re not ready to commit to their month long program, do yourself a favour and check out their upcoming webinar on networking in a virtual world to keep your networking game sharp.

This webinar will cover some tips, tricks and watch-outs to kickstart your virtual networking journey.

Networking in a Virtual World is the second webinar in the First 30’s Virtual World series and it takes place on Tuesday, May 12th from 1pm – 2pm EST.

Register online to participate.
