SRED Tax Automation Platform Boast.ai Sets Eyes On Montréal

March 11, 2021 by Robert Lewis

Last month Boast.ai announced they had secured a $100 million credit facility from New York’s Brevet Capital.

Boast.ai’s flagship software product automates the complex process of applying for R&D tax credits.

It gathers data from a company’s existing technical and financial systems to identify, categorize, and time-track eligible projects, ensuring nothing is missed and all the supporting documentation is in place, leading to larger refunds with less investment of time and resources.

This new financing platform will allow Boast.ai clients to receive cash advances on R&D tax credits and subsidies.

Today Boast.ai announced that they will be putting those new funds to work with a new team in Montréal. The company plans to hire up to 25 professionals in its engineering, customer success, and sales teams over the next 12 months.

Montréal’s rich artificial intelligence ecosystem, as well as its engineering talent pool, are among the reasons that led Boast.ai to expand in the city.

Boast.ai plans to add a total of 50 new members in its four Canadian locations this year.
